The new 4CE kitewing is now in production.
The shorter wingspan of the 4,0 sqm size, 4CE makes it agile and easy to use, especially shorter individuals benefit from the shorter wingspan. Five battens, just as in the larger wings, make this wing the most stable wing made so far. The movement of the wing is quite predictable even in strong winds. Another factor contributing to stability are the wide wingtips. The stability and ease of use of this wing makes it the ideal wing for beginners and smaller riders, but also for more skilled and heavier riders in strong winds. The dacron sailcloth is resistant and care free, for maximum ease of use.

The first open trial day of the season will be held (if there is wind) on lake Bodom in Espoo on the 19th of December from 10:00 to 15:00. The best access to the ice is from Oittaa beach.
As there is little snow, this day is intended for those useing skates . Warm clothes are recomended and all partisipants must wear a helmet. If there is no wo wind, there will at least be exelent conditions for skateing on the ice.
There will be other opportunities for those who want to use skis or snowboard, so please note this one is reserved for skates only.
All wingmodels will be awailable for trial and the goal is that everybody gets to try a wing, it will also be possible to buy wings on site.

On 6.1.2008 around 80 enthusiastic novices tried Kitewing riding at Laajalahti bay in Helsinki at the first open Kitewing trial this season, arranged by the guys at C-Breeze (main distributor of Kitewing in Finland). The conditions where good, the wind perhaps on the heavy side, but with miles of snow free ice on the bay.
This was the first open trial opportunity this season, as the winter never came to the south of Finland last winter. As the conditions demanded use of skates, a similar opportunity will be offered later in conditions suitable for skis or snowboards in the Helsinki area and also elswhere in the country.
