A venerable rig descended from traditional Kitewing hand held wing sails, the new 5.0 is a light weight handling wing for more power on slower surfaces. We use the 5.0 TW on snow. Kitewing 5.0 TW components are common to the Kitewing frame system. The same V tube with brackets which can be used with a curved boom and Y tubes common to the 2.4 TW and KW 3.0 TW. Y tubes are recommended for harness sailing. 5.0 is an expert wing. Longer wing span and a more complex set up and take down are pertinent.
